BAEI Cargo was founded in 2014 by Chesley S. Gimenez, a career freight professional who watched too many shipments get held up by paperwork that could have been filed correctly the first time. He started the company out of a single office in Gurnee, Illinois, with a promise that customers would always be able to reach a real person who owned the outcome.
Eleven years later, that principle still shapes how we operate. Every account has a named coordinator. Every shipment has a milestone log. Every quote reflects a real routing plan — never an educated guess.
Today we move air, ocean, ground, and multi-modal freight for importers and exporters in the Midwest, the Northeast, and along both coasts, with a strong lane focus on the US ↔ South Asia corridor.
